i was lucky how i grew up, my mother made sure my other relatives could not force gender roles on me. i was a “action figures in a barbie carousel” sort of person, and that was just fine with her. i think having that mix helps me a lot.

Yeah, same. My mom was too busy working to care whether we kids liked dolls or cars, and such. We all grew up sharing toys, anyway; it wasn’t any weirder for my boy cousin to play with our dolls than it was for my sister and I to play his James Bond and Super Smash Bros games.

Not until we had every possible show on tv playing a Boys vs Girls episode saying it was weird.
